If you take a stroll around Poncin, you will discover an old medieval city dating from the 8th century. There are houses dating from the end of the middle ages, and some old wine growing mansions dating back to the 15th century. You can also visit a neogothic church with beautiful stained-glass windows from the 19th century, as well as a statue which has a replica in the Louvre museum.
The art centre
There are a lot of artistic activities in Poncin. For 20 years now, the municipal team has created an annual art exhibition, the Arts centre. There are 10 exhibitions per year. The gallery is open from April to December, on Fridays , Saturdays , Sundays and bank holidays.
